Did you know that a billion working women worldwide generate approximately $9 trillion in disposable income?

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

~ Margaret Mead

Thank you for taking time to learn more about The Feminine Perspective research project.

This exciting project has been developed to gain deeper understanding of the goals, aspirations and needs of New Zealand women.

We are inviting women across New Zealand to participate. They will be women from all walks of life, and not just women involved in careers or businesses.  I would really appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey as fully as you can, then pass this opportunity on to 5 Friends by adding their email at the top of this page, asking them to pass it on to another 5 Friends and so it goes on. This just ensures that we get the “true feminine perspective”.  As a bonus everyone who completes the survey before October 21st 2011 will go in the draw to win an iPod Classic valued at $429.

To commence your survey immediately, simply follow this link.

What I’m asking is that you take a little time to complete the survey and tell us “your story”, in the interests of women in New Zealand and around the world. Your answers will be kept anonymous. And there is certainly no right or wrong answer. We just want to hear your most honest thoughts. The objective of the research is simple, it’s to identify key themes underlying women’s aspirations and goals, and to understand the challenges and barriers that you face personally, professionally and in business.

Our intention is to really understand what drives happiness for women and to also understand those needs that are not being met. We also take a look at how businesses in New Zealand serve us as consumers.

The survey should take approximately 12 – 15 minutes to complete.

The findings from the study will support us in the development of new workshops and events for women, and support our consulting work with business clients across New Zealand who are committed to serving women more relevantly. It is my intention to be a voice for New Zealand women, to advance our participation in business, governance and economy by providing insight and deepening awareness. My greatest hope is that our working together on this project is that we make the world a better place for all, the quote from Margaret Mead at the top of the page really says it all, never doubt that together we can change the world!

Finally, just to say that by submitting your responses to this survey you are granting The Feminine Perspective the right and permission to use and publish your anonymous responses. If you include your email at the end of the survey we will be delighted to send you a summary of our results. We promise that we will not share your email address with others and will not bombard you with emails in the future.

Thank you so much for your time and support … together we will make a difference.

Women are the most powerful consumer group in history!
Women are the most powerful consumer group in history!

Women have become the primary engine of the economy worldwide, and are the primary drivers of changing spending patterns and accelerating social change across the globe. Our initial research indicates that New Zealand women make or directly influence 80% of purchasing decisions made in this country everyday yet we feel that we are greatly misunderstood and undervalued as consumers in many categories and as employees too.

Did you know that a billion working women worldwide generate approximately $9 trillion in disposable income?

Take note!  This global "movement" has only just begun to move!  Women are demanding more as consumers, will continue to grow economically, and will take more leadership jobs.
